To get this feature, one need to update his or her WhatsApp application and you’ll be very much good to go. See the steps to update below;
- Open your Google Play Store or App Store from your app drawer
- In the search bar, type and search for “WhatsApp”
- Select the official WhatsApp application from the list
- Then tap on Update
When you tap on the “Update” button, the app will be updated automatically on your device for free.
How To Edit WhatsApp Message
To edit already sent WhatsApp message, simply follow the steps given below;
- On your WhatsApp, opne the chat you want to edit your already sent message (remember, it should be a message sent within 15-minute time because you can’t edit any message that already pass that time)
- Long press the message you want to edit and tap on the more options icon (three dots at the top right
- Then from the drop down menu, select the “Edit” option
- Update your message and when you are done, tap the check mark to update your message
It’s as simple as that.
Have in mind that you can’t edit photos, videos, or other type of media. Edited messages will display “edited” alongside them, so those you’re messaging are aware of the correction without showing edit history.
