WhatsApp is a well known social media Platform that has an easy to use interface. With it’s end-to-end encryption, users find it easy to note those that are on the platform and have nice chat with them either by texting, audio or video calling. WhatsApp is getting even more developed, recently it added a feature whereby users can pin up to three important chats to the Top of the chat list‌. The Pin Whatsapp Chats feature is what we want to share with you in this article.
This pin chat feature allows you to pin up to three important or specific chats to the top of your chats list so that it can be easily accessed. Even when you get new messages from other chats, the ones you pinned won’t leave the top list.
Also With the Pinned chats feature, you wont need to always scroll through your chats contact to select a friend or a family you should chat with, they will always stay at the top so you can quickly find them (if you pin them).
Before you can use this feature, you should update your WhatsApp app first from your device store.

How to Pin Important Whatsapp Chats | Pin Whatsapp Chats Feature
After you have updated your whatsapp, then follow the steps below to Pin Important Chats.
- Open your WhatsApp from your Home screen
- Tap and Hold the chat that you want to PIN
- Then at the top of the screen, tap the Pin icon that appears.
Note: You can pin up to three Chats
To Unpin the Chats
Simply tap and hold the pinned Chat, then tap on Remove pin
